This description should offer a specific explanation of the overall project to which the research will contribute and a sense of the scholarly works on which it relies. To apply, please complete the online FLAGS Application. Applicants are responsible for knowing all University policies and procedures related to the conduct of research as they apply to their proposed project. Applicants who seek additional funding for a previously supported project must state how the money already received has been used in order to justify the continuation of support. After one year, a request for an extension for the grant must be filed. Award monies are available for one year after the grant has been awarded. FLAGS funds cannot provide reimbursement for expenses already incurred. Original receipts are necessary for reimbursement no meals are covered. Individual awards range from $500 to $5,000.
